What is Cursillo?
Cursillo, a Spanish word meaning "a short course“. It is a movement within the Church intended to help Christians to:
•Learn how to KNOW God's love and grace
•Learn to walk with Christ daily
•Help discover and live out your personal relationship with Christ.

How long is it? Cursillo is a four day course which takes place over a long weekend (Thursday –Sunday) at Camp Allen in West Texas.
What are my accommodations? The weekend is hosted in a Conference style facility with hotel-type rooms*. Meals are included for Friday through Sunday.
When do I arrive? You arrive on Thursday evening between 6:00–7:30pm and will finish Sunday afternoon around 6:00pm.
What are the pre-requisites to attend? Be baptized in Christ and have a desire to know God. You are not required to have a scholarly background and there are no tests (before or after the weekend).
What do I bring? Everything is provided…. All you need are:
•Changes of clothes (a light sweater is recommended all year long).
•Toiletries and personal items.
What NOT to bring: Radio, Walkman, computer, TV, worries, stress, gloom, work from the office, rain, snow, etc.
*The November Cursillo is held at the campsite with cabin-style accommodations and separated into men and women’s camps.
